How to Add Transaction code to Favorites in SAP

In this tutorial we will learn how to add transaction codes to favorites in SAP.

What is Transaction code in SAP?

Transaction Codes: Each application in the SAP system is assigned a transaction code.

A transaction code consists of letters, numbers or both. You enter transaction code in the command field which will take you to the SAP application faster as against navigating via menu path.

A transaction code can be up to 20 characters long and ıt should begin with a letter.

Enter the transaction code in the “Command Field”:

Favorites helps you store all the list of favorites transaction code.

Transaction codes can be added to Favorites in two methods.

First Method is from the SAP easy access menu, right click on favorites and click on ınsert transaction.

Enter the transaction code in the field and press enter.

Transaction ME23N is inserted in favorites successfully.

Second Method is select transaction code from SAP menu path and click on ıcon and add ıt to favorites.
