SAP FI — How to Create a Company in SAP| OX15

Define Company

In this tutorial you will learn to create and define company code, procedure to assign company code to company in SAP.

T-code : OX15

SPRO : SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Accounting ->Define Company

Press New Entries,

In the next screen, enter the Company Details : Company,Company Name

In the detailed ınformation section enter the company address details such as Street, PO Box,Postal code, City, Country, Language Key, Currency

Define Company Code

T-code : OX02

SPRO : IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Accounting -> Edit, Copy, Delete, Check Company Code

By selecting the Address (Shift+F5) area as bellow, you can maintenance the company address details

Assign Company Code to Company

T-code : OX16

SPRO : IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Financial Accounting -> Assign company code to company

Define Business Area

Business Area is used for management accounting in a few companies. By using business area you can create profit and loss statement, balance sheet, etc. and get the reports separately.
