Create New Asset Classes

The FI-Asset Accounting (FI-AA) component is used for managing the fixed assets in FI system. In this tutorial we will learn how to create a new asset classes. Each asset master data must be allocated to one asset class, for e.g. Building, Vehicles, Furniture, Machines, etc.

The important components of asset accountings are :

Traditional asset accounting

Processing leased assets

Information System

T-code : OAOA

SPRO : IMG -> Financial Accounting(New) -> Asset Accounting -> Organizational Structures -> Asset Classes -> Define Asset Classes

Table: ANKA, ANKT, T095A, T082A, T095T, T082H

In this screen you will be able to see a list of an already existed asset classes.

After double click or New Entry update the following information :

Asset class : Enter the asset class

Short text : Enter description and short text

Asset type : Enter account determination , screen layout rule.

Number Assignment : Enter the number range no for asset classes.

Select include asset under inventory data.

Select No Auc (Asset under construction) or summary management of AUC.

Click on save icon to save the configured data. You have created asset classes successfully.
