SAP FI — How to Create a House Bank in SAP

Define House Bank

The bank which is used for payment transactions for the company is called as house bank in SAP. In this tutorial we will learn how to define house bank in SAP. Each company code can have multiple house banks and house bank of a company code is represented by a bank ID. Every account at a house bank is represented by an account ID. In SAP system we use the bank ID and the account ID to specify bank details.

T-code : FI12

SPRO : IMG -> Financial Accounting (New) -> Bank Accounting ->Bank Accounts -> Define House Banks

Table : T012, T001, T012D, T012K, T012T, T012, T001

Choose new entries if you want to create a new house bank.

For the house bank, maintain the fields according to your requirements. Save it, to continue with definition of bank accounts.
